OH, MANDEY
Okay, anyone who's read "Tales of the Petro Canada Man" has seen a version of this story from waaaay back in 1993! I redid it in the last year for an anthology mag called "GRAWLIX", for their third issue, which was about relationship break ups. It was kind of enjoyable to revisit this with almost twenty years hindsight. Parts of this old relationship admittedly still hurt, and of my two exes, Mandey feels no need to maintain any relationship, which has always mystified me.
Anyway, I think I did this tale better justice here than the clunky, VERY ugly looking original.
