So I've penciled a three pager updating some info on my two boys. I've lettered it and am in the very beginning stages of inking. I'm also close to finishing the script for a story on my various run ins with right wing loonies. Neither have a specific "home", just doing them.
A story I did for CHAINSAW COMICS anthology "JOY" is being inked by Joe Meyer. I'm hoping it gets accepted cause it means I'm still out there.
Today is the last day of my ten day holiday break. Kinda sad to see it end, tho' I'm sure once I'm in the thick of it back at work a sense of "normalcy" will return.
Leery of a new school year, which also brings in a new babysitter for the boys. Starting next week we'll be outsourcing their care to a stranger. My sister had been watching them since Kris went back to work almost two years ago but now she's going back to school. The new sitter brings in new problems like a little more money doled out and of course, the lads being in a new unfamiliar environment.
All this unsettled shit likely doesn't help the incoming colder months and shorter days of Fall/Winter. Since my Mother's passing in December of 2010 I've found myself dreading the cooler seasons. Needless to say I'm gonna try hard to hunker down and push my way through this time of year, even more depressing with my Mom's anniversary in the mix.
We'll see how it pans out I guess.
